Cedar Line Studios LLC ("Cedar Line Studios," "we," "us") develops and publishes mobile games and utility apps (the "Apps"). This policy explains what data the Apps collect, how it is used, and who it is shared with.
Contact: contact@cedarlinestudios.com
App-specific data practices are described in Part B.
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the Apps are used. This includes:
Analytics collection is enabled by default and begins when you launch the App. You can limit it through your device's privacy settings. We do not use this analytics data to identify you personally.
We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix crashes and errors. When the App crashes or encounters an error, Crashlytics collects:
The Apps store data locally on your device (for example, game progress, scores, settings, and preferences) using on-device storage. This data stays on your device unless it is synced through a service described below.
For Apps that integrate Apple Game Center, we use it for leaderboards and saved game data. Game Center may process your Game Center player identifier, alias/nickname, scores, and friend relationships. Leaderboards may display the public aliases and avatars of other players. Saved game data may be synced to your personal iCloud account. This processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal data.
We share data only with service providers that process it on our behalf:
| Provider | Purpose | Their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google (Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics) | Analytics and crash reporting | https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy |
| Apple (Game Center, iCloud, CloudKit) | Leaderboards, saved games, sync | https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ |
App-specific providers are listed in Part B.
The Apps are not directed to children under 13 (or a higher minimum age where required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact contact@cedarlinestudios.com.
You can also:
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Apps after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

In addition to the data described in Part A, MealMap collects and processes:
MealMap uses your device's location to find and log nearby venues. With your permission, we access your precise location while you are using the App. Location is also stored as part of the venues you save (address, latitude, and longitude of the venue).
Your precise (GPS) location is processed only on your device — for example, to sort venues by distance — and is synced solely to your private iCloud account as part of the venues you save. Cedar Line Studios does not transmit your precise location, or the latitude and longitude of your saved venues, to our own servers or to analytics. The only third party that receives location is Apple, through Maps/MapKit and iCloud (see below). Separately, as noted in Part A §3.1, Firebase Analytics infers an approximate, city-level location from your IP address; this is not your device's GPS location.
You can grant or revoke location access at any time in your device Settings. Denying location access limits location-dependent features but does not prevent you from using the rest of the App.
MealMap displays maps and venue information using Apple Maps / MapKit. Your location and search context may be processed by the map provider to render maps and search results, subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
In addition to the general analytics described in Part A §3.1, MealMap sends information about your activity to Google Firebase Analytics so we can understand how the App is used. This includes content you create, such as:
We do not send your location data — including venue addresses, latitude, or longitude — to analytics. Other content sent to analytics is processed by Google and is subject to Google's privacy policy. We do not intend for analytics to contain personally identifiable information. Because fields such as venue and dish names are free-text and entered at your discretion, we ask that you not enter personal information into them; if you do, that information may be included in analytics. You can delete any content you have entered at any time (see "Your saved content and iCloud sync" below and Part A §8).
MealMap stores the content you create — including venue names and addresses, dishes, the names of people you log meals for, ratings, and free-text notes — on your device using Apple CoreData. This content is automatically backed up and synced to your personal iCloud account via Apple CloudKit.
This data is stored in your private iCloud database, associated with your Apple ID. Apart from the content sent to analytics as described above, Cedar Line Studios cannot access the contents of your private iCloud database. iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can delete this data by deleting it in the App or by managing your iCloud storage in your device Settings.
MealMap provides an in-app Delete All Data option (in Settings) that erases your saved venues, dishes, people, ratings, and notes from your device and your iCloud database.
